With the invention of the award-winning Uncrapify Your Life! series of keynote speeches, Jeff Havens has turned the entire professional speaking world on its head.  By encouraging his audiences to do the opposite of everything he recommends, Jeff offers a motivational address utterly unlike anything corporate America has ever seen, one that is guaranteed to leave the members of your group refreshed, surprised, and begging for more.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Vanderbilt University, Jeff began his career as a high school English teacher before following his father Rex Havens (www.rexhavens.com) into the world of stand-up comedy, where he worked with some of the brightest lights in American comedy and honed the art of engaging audiences through laughter.  But his impulse to teach never faded, and soon he began looking for an avenue to combine both of his passions into a single, cohesive presentation.

The result is Uncrapify Your Life!, and in the two years since its introduction Jeff has brought his unique, side-splitting, message-based keynote addresses to General Electric, McDonald’s, Ford Motor Company, USBank, Frito-Lay, and over a hundred other corporations in the U.S. and Canada.  Original, informative, hilarious and powerful, Jeff’s speeches have transformed the way businesspeople approach the idea of personal and professional growth.  In the words of one conference attendee, “I laughed until I had tears in my eyes – and walked away feeling better about work than I have in years.  The reverse psychology is a great way to get the point across, and he does a wonderful job of it.”

DOUG VAN CAMPDoug Van Camp

Douglas L. Van Camp was a member of the firm of Hendren and Andrae which was established in 1946 by original partners John Hendren and Henry Andrae, for 25 years before starting his own firm.  His office is in Jefferson City, the capital of Missouri located geographically in the center of the state, which affords him the ability to attend workers’ compensation dockets throughout the state, although the majority of their dockets are in central, southern and northern Missouri.  Douglas L. Van Camp has been an attorney for 24 years, and has approximately 95% of his practice devoted to handling workers’ compensation and personal injury matters, the balance of his practice is in the area of divorce and family law.  He has extensive trial experience in the workers’ compensation arena involving not only routine hearings to determine the nature and extent of permanent partial disability, or permanent total disability, but has also been involved in what he believes to be one of the most extensive hearing in the State of Missouri, one which resulted in a favorable award for his employer client (Light v. J. C. Industries).  He also has extensive litigation experience in the civil trial court system throughout the mid-Missouri area.  He also has argued numerous cases before the state’s Labor and Industrial Relations Commission and appellate courts.

Approximately four years ago, he decided to go to “the Dark Side” and focus on representation of injured parties as opposed to employers/insurers.  He has developed a plaintiff practice that seems to have evolved into a heavy predominance of cases representing state workers.
